Become a lifeguard! Last Call for the Lifeguarding Course & Re-certification Course. Deposit is due Thursday, April 18, 2019 to hold your spot. The first class starts May 1, 2019. See Mrs. O'Connor in the pool office.
Attention Juniors! Ms. Mora and Mr. Santoleri will be taking members of the class of 2020 to Rider University on Thursday, May 2, 2019. You must have a minimum weighted GPA of a 2.7 to be eligible to participate. Please see Mrs. Hallahan in the counseling office to check your eligibility and obtain a permission slip. Permission slips will be due on Tuesday, April 30th at 2:10 pm. First come first served and spots are limited.
Class of 2019 Graduation Speech-New Tradition: Our class legacy will not be a banner but we will be the first class to a have a student selected to give the speech at graduation, rather than the traditional valedictorian or salutatorian of the class. If you would like to participate in this exciting opportunity please see the guidelines below for qualification. 1. Top 33% of your class 2. Speech must be no longer than 5 minutes in length 3. Speech must be submitted via email to Mr. Dennis Vinson at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, May 10th at 2:30p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS!! 4. Semifinalists will be selected to give your speech on Wednesday, May 22nd at 2:30 before a faculty panel. 5. Final candidate will be notified on Thursday, May 23rd.
After school Tutoring!! NHS Tutors will be available in the Library after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. No need to sign up to attend. Simply go to the library after school and tutors will be available in ALL subject areas. (Mrs. Friehaut)
